Finished up my last summer with the Bowen fam 🥹 Words can’t describe the amount of gratitude I have for this family and my time with them. Each day was full of laughter and joy and I thank the Lord for every lesson I learned through these amazing kiddos.

My prayer every morning was for patience, that I would be patient with the kids and be able to make it through each day. But halfway through this summer, the Lord told me, “Ava pray for the kids.” From then on my prayers weren’t just about me, they were for curiosity, joy, thoughtfulness, and strength. That these kids would continue to see the world exactly how the Lord calls us to. And that I would see the world through their eyes. With all of the possibilities and wonder that young children see in our broken, yet beautiful world. Matthew 19:14 says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

Every day I wanted to set a good example for these kids. But the Lord taught me over the course of three years, that they set the example for me. Thank you Jesus for shaping and molding me every day. And thank you @allybowen11 for allowing me to witness the joy your children bring to this world.
