Every late night. Every tear. Every time I would cry and beg God to allow me to push through the pain…
led me to this moment.
To Jami: You go girlll!💝 You are the epitome of kindness! Thank you for making this campaign so special, we truly did that!! You are who you know you are!!
To Tynilia: Queen!!!!👸🏽My 73rd Miss MVSU you set the bar!!! Thank you for always being you and showing our university that leadership does not mean you have to dim your light! Forever ‘25-‘26
and lastly to everyone who reads this: Let this be your reminder that God’s timing is truly perfect. Every time I tried to figure it out myself or lean on to my own understanding, he closed the door. Every time I sat in my room begging God to help me understand why, he reminded me what faith meant. Every time you go through your season of battles and scars, remember who laid down his own life in order for us to live. Dry your eyes, get up to fight on again, and allow God to do the rest. Thank you MVSU, thank you student body, and thank you God!
I did not grow through comfort. I grew through faith, perseverance, and trusting God even when the path was unclear.
