the post i’ve been dreading. i never thought the day would come when i’d play my last high school game. soccer has been such a huge part of my life i have found me closest friends, my favorite memories, and my strongest self. soccer has been my comfort sport for as long as i can remember. it is hard to put into words what this game has meant to me. from starting at 3 years to now being a senior, i have grown up with this sport. from the early morning practices, long bus rides, wins that made us feel unstoppable, and losses that taught us resilience every moment was worth it. i’ve grown so much through this sport, both as a player and as a person. thank you to my teammates who became family, my coaches who believed in me, and the parents who cheered us on. it crazy to think this chapter is over, but i’ll carry these memories and lessons with me forever. as for the underclassmen, i am so proud of each of you and cannot wait to see what you all accomplish, you truly made my senior year the best. thank you mapleton soccer. #10 out🤍⚽️ by @avaa.maariee
