Incase you didn’t know…you don’t have to spend a fortune on everything in your home…

I found this bed on Amazon, and honestly it was a steal 🤩 Would I have liked the £400 bedframe that I loved off @dusk.com …obviously 🙄 but did we have that in the budget? Ofcourse not!

So I’m here to tell ya that the £95 deal off Amazon, feels just as lush and luxury once you’ve added in some crisp white bedding, a fluffy throw and chopped your pillows just like @mrshinchhome taught ya 😉

Is it just me, or are fresh clean bedsheets one of life’s quiet luxuries? 😍

Me on a Sunday having a lovely time cleaning the bath that everyone said I’d regret 👀

Can confirm… zero regrets 😍

Turns out cleaning it isn’t actually the full-time job I was promised it would be. Devastating news for some, I’m sure 😂

She’s impractical. She’s unnecessary. She’s apparently a nightmare to clean.

She’s also bloody gorgeous and exactly what I wanted 💅🏼🛁

So anyway, consider this a little Sunday check-in for everyone who had their thoughts…

I’m still obsessed. Still zero regrets. Still waiting for the “I told you so” moment you were all so confident was coming 👀😂

Are these not the most beautiful 🤭 …well to me they are anyway, I’m sure they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea 👀🤣

I was so excited when I found these in @tkmaxxuk they really had my name written all over them, didn’t they 🩷

It’s the little things that make a house a home 🥹🏡

Whoever started the rumour that cosy = dark...I’d just like to have a quick word 😂

Give me warm wood, glowy lamps, fluffy blankets, crisp white bedding and all the cosy textures…but let me see my own feet without switching the big light on, please 👀🤭

Our master bedroom is coming together already and we haven’t even touched a tin of paint 👀😉

We’re just getting started with this house, so I hope you’re ready for all the new house spam…. 🏡

…there might be a couple of dog pics thrown in for good measure too, because it wouldn’t be Ava & The Wolf’s House without them, am I right? 👀🐾 (I’ll save the dog food pics for @avaandthewolf grid though!)

If you ask me what my favourite upgrades in the house are, the slide and hide ovens would be up there in the favourites but…hands down it would be the bathroom floors and the free standing bath 🤭 🛁

Originally we picked a VERY different floor for the bathrooms, in hindsight is was grey, clinical, cold and not very us…so I’m really glad we went bold with this @amticoflooring 😍👌🏼 The warm tone of the Russet Burnished Metal, perfectly matches the rust vein in the tiles…a dreamy combo 🥹

…and don’t even get me started on the bath…otherwise I’ll cry…again 🤭 I have always dreamt of having a free standing bath, and now here it is 😭🛁

Tell me in the comments how you’d decorate these bathrooms, I’d love to know 👀

This fireplace alone feels like home…even without the fire 🤭

I can not wait to get a wood burner installed in the living room, ready for cosy winter nights snuggled on the sofa infront of a cheesy Christmas film…I know it’s July, but honestly Winter is my season ❄️⛄️🧣

Who else is a winter girly? 👀👌🏼

I honestly can not tell you how many pieces of quartz we looked at and considered in the end for our kitchen 🤭 There are so many beautiful options and it’s so difficult to decide what you’d like…something statement? Something subtle? Something timeless? Something on trend?

Eventually we picked this beautiful @silestonebycosentino quartz; Bronze Rivers…and I am fully obsessed! Fitted beautifully by @cambriangranite it has the perfect mix of timeless classic style, and a healthy helping of wow factor when you look that little bit closer…paired with our @symphonygroup Fern Green kitchen cabinets…it’s a beautifully perfect pairing 🤭🥹

Do you have quartz in your kitchen? I’d love to know what you went for!

Wondering what I’ve got planned for our new castle…? 👀 You better believe it’ll be pink and green 🤭🩷💚

If you’ve come here from @avaandthewolfdeli you’ll already know that pink and green are MY colours 😉🤭 I hope to use these as base colours throughout the house, introducing natural textures, warm woods and timeless decor 😌

I’m not trying to set new trends or keep up with ones…I’m just here to share our new adventure, create a home that is safe and calm and carefully curated with things we love, whilst building spaces for guests that feel warm, welcoming and inviting…so stick around…I’d love you to follow our journey 🏡

Shout out to @ourpensfordhome for the picture inspiration…looking forward to following your new build journey too 🥰

Can you picture it yet?…because we can 👀

One of the things that made me fall in love with this house is the downstairs lay out…it ticks all the essential boxes and the bonus ones too 🏡

I really wanted the kitchen to be at back of the house ✅ It had to have a downstairs toilet ✅ We absolutely needed a kitchen/diner with a separate lounge/living space ✅ Bonus points for a separate utility room (for those muddy boots and paws) ✅ and then the cherry on top of the cake? The study/office/family room ✅

This house really has everything we were looking for in terms of living space 🤩 it’s like it was meant for us 😍

We’ve picked @harveymaria Old Bramble flooring for the downstairs space, and honestly I can’t wait to see it all come together 👀 …I’m off to order my steam mop now 😅🧹

It’s time… 👀

I’ve been waiting so long to share this first post…and now I finally can - today we’ve exchanged contracts 🥹 I have to pinch myself when I look at this photo, knowing that this is going to be our home!!

For those of you who have come here from AATW, hey 👋 you can expect my usual sassy, fun, silly, honest, down to earth content here…just more house and less dog treats 😅

For those of you who have no idea who we are are, hey 👋 I hope you enjoy following our journey, whilst we make this new build house our home 🏡 You can find the dog treats (with a hefty helping of sass) over at @avaandthewolfdeli 😉🐶🐾

We have worked SO hard for this, and I can not wait for our new adventure 😃

Countdown to completion day begins….. ⏰
