First day working at Wild Earth today! 🌿

Had a really good first shift and managed to sell four pairs of shoes plus some climbing gear, so pretty happy with that for day one 😄

Still lots to learn, but everyone made me feel really welcome and it’s pretty cool getting to work somewhere that’s all about the outdoors and climbing.

Incredible weekend… so lucky to experience this at U17s

I gave it my all and was really pleased with my climb in the finals, I missed a higher foot but that will come with some lead training. Big thank you to all volunteers this weekend.

Also thank you to @oriellemt for belaying me after the comp, I managed to get a little farther. Congratulations on your Open State podium and happy birthday 🥳

This weekend wrapped up the @sportclimbingqueensland Youth Lead & Speed Championships at Bounce, and I’m really happy to come away with 🥉 in Lead and 🥈 in Speed.

Lead was definitely a rollercoaster. I had a really strong qualifying round and went into finals ranked 1st in Queensland, but I couldn’t quite hold on when it counted most. It stings a little, but that’s climbing, big congratulations to @ninavclimbs and @ellie.m.wilkinson for climbing cool under pressure to take 🥇and 🥈 place… very deserved.

Massive shout out to @dani_dynos and Mali from @sportclimbvic for taking out top spots in the event podium! 💪

The positive is that this has been my first year properly getting back into lead climbing after spending so much time focused on strength and outdoors. I know I haven’t put in the same volume of lead training as some of the other girls, so it was really encouraging to be able to compete alongside some of the best young climbers in the country as well as the national champion. It gives me a lot of confidence heading into the rest of the season and shows that the hard work is starting to pay off.

Loved speed, big congratulations to fellow QLDer Skylah for taking the win and Lily from @sportclimbingtas, very cool to share the first speed podium with you guys.

A huge congratulations to everyone who competed. The standard was incredibly high and it was awesome to see so many athletes pushing themselves all weekend.

Massive thanks to Sport Climbing Queensland, @bounceinc , all of the volunteers, judges, route setters and everyone working behind the scenes to make the event happen. And of course, thank you to my squad coaches @coreclimbaus and @alpineindoorclimbing, family, @wildearthaustralia and everyone who continues to support me. ❤️

Time to get back to training. 💪🧗‍♀️

Proud of my progress in lead climbing…. I couldn’t have gone any further in my finals climb and gave it my all.

Route setting was amazing! Thank you so much to @sportclimbingnsw and @climbfit_kirrawee for the opportunity.

What a weekend. Two finals, two top 10 finishes and so many good memories with the best people. I’m super happy with how I climbed, but even more proud of the mindset I brought this year. I really focused on staying positive, enjoying the experience and backing myself between climbs, and I think that made the biggest difference.

Huge congrats to everyone who competed, especially all my friends who absolutely crushed it and those who stood on the podium 👏 So cool seeing all the hard work paying off.

Big thank you to all the route setters, judges, volunteers and organisers who made the event happen. These comps take so much work behind the scenes and we all appreciate it heaps ❤️

Also massive thanks to my squad coaches, training crew, family and everyone cheering me on from home or through the livestream. Couldn’t do any of this without you.
