I have gained so much valuable experience that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my career. I am so thankful for everyone at the station who welcomed me in! Accidentally forgot my umbrella when I went in to work today ☔️🫣

Scattered thunderstorms continuing through central Texas. Make sure you have your umbrella handy! However, multiple towns are seeing flash flood warnings and other advisories— make sure to have alerts turned on for your location, drive carefully in any rain, and always turn around when you encounter flooded roadways. by @avacrain.wx

Guide to staying hydrated at the office!!

1️⃣ Sip, don’t chug — take small sips every 15-20 minutes to actually absorb water intake

2️⃣ Balance your caffeine — for every cup of coffee, have a glass of water too!

3️⃣ Place it where you can see it — if it’s out of sight, it’s out of mind, so don’t let yourself forget to drink your water

Even if you’re in the AC all day, your body is working harder to adjust to the extreme heat, making desk dehydration a reason for that 2PM brain fog. So keep sipping that water and have a great summer day! by @avacrain.wx
