I am excited to announce my official commitment to Oklahoma City University for a BM in Music Theatre!!💙

I’m so grateful for every person who’s been part of this journey with me and supported me. I wouldn’t be here without God, my incredible mom @amy.lillian1 , and my amazing teachers @maryhollisinboden and @jenny.powers

Here are just SOME of my favorite moments from Interlochen:
- Waking up for morning lineup with everyone barely functioning
- Competitive but fun card games in my cabin
- Rehearsing in my secret favorite practice cabin
- Fueling up on banana muffins and Goldfish
- Being Katherine Howard in Six!!
- Late night calls with my mom before lights out
- Learning one very important Spanish word from my new best friends (“devoraste”)
- Eating lunch by the beautiful lake
- Practicing Favorite Son choreography until my brain was scrambled
- Being part of the funniest, most talented musical theatre group ever
- Saying goodnight to the absolute best cabin (CABIN 239 forever!)
- Walking past practice cabins filled with the most insanely talented musicians I’ve ever heard

I honestly can’t put into words how much 3 weeks at Interlochen, Michigan changed me and my mindset. We worked so hard , in rehearsal, dance, singing, and acting classes. Watching people perform not just in musical theatre but also orchestra, opera, dance, acting, creative writing, and more was surreal. These kids come from all over the world, each one incredibly talented, dedicated, and laser focused on their craft. I’m beyond grateful to have been surrounded by people who are just as serious about musical theatre as I am.
