I cannot wait to see this one framed! This video is after a second layer of varnish and I love the vibrancy it brought back to the painting.

Still thinking about this past Saturday 💐

Last weekend I had the chance to lead a paint experience for 400 moms and daughters during @asukkg Moms Weekend at @thefarmarizona

Seeing moms and daughters laughing and painting together was really special to be part of & leading something at this scale challenges me in the best way.

Grateful to Kappa Kappa Gamma for trusting me with it. 🎨

January 💫

I spent the end of 2025 learning oil paints, and this month we practiced outside the studio!! Taking a landscape painting course this semester has been the BEST decision I could’ve made :,)

This month I also attended a beautiful memorial exhibition honoring Ellen Meissinger. I’m so thankful to have experienced her teaching last semester, and her generous guidance and thoughtful questioning of the world will have a lifelong impact on me.

Outside of this carousel, I spent my time researching for my thesis and embracing Phoenix history and culture 🌮 by @avafriasart

Cannot BELIEVE it’s already October, but I’m so excited for the weather to cool down.

I painted right by the window, and I might be delusional, but I swear I felt a little chill in the air.

This painting has taken me some time because I’ve been working on it alongside the other two pieces in this three-part series. I’ve been having so much fun playing with the colors, and I can finally see the finish line! 🎨💐

The first two layers of a blue and green agave 🌏

Blue for the giants (let’s just ignore that last game) & yay for fantasy football and fall time!

Special thank you to @vivians.artwork @camdecaussin @professor_button for putting together the perfect show and @julissarebecca_ for the most beautiful grazing table. 💐

It’s an honor to have my art on display with such a talented group of artists and friends. 🌱

Four months later, and I still daydream about the flower gardens we came across in San Diego. My mom, grandma, and I were on a morning walk during our girls’ trip and were absolutely amazed by the variety of colors and plants. 🌸

An Arizona girl can only dream 🥰

This month, I’ve been working on three special commissioned paintings. Anytime I have leftover paint on my palette, I’ve been using it to work on this triptych. That method has gotten me fairly far, and it’s such a great way to get every last bit of use out of my paint. 🎨

This painting was a rare example of a project that came together so easily. I’ve always been drawn to patterns in nature, and I have countless sketches like this in my sketchbook. Painting this one felt relaxing and familiar.

I loved the initial sketch and experimenting with all the different colors I found in my reference photo. Layer after layer, i think that resulted in some really unique greens.

I love the desert, and this painting reminded me that I have so many sketches I want to explore. 🌵🎨

Starting new projects and wrapping up old ones 💝

Seeing a painting varnished and framed is a different kind of feeling, and I’m so happy to see my vision come to life, from start to finish 🥰
