Today, Sunday on July 12 1976, my parents got married. Same people still together but many versions of themselves later, for better and for worse, through sickness and through health .

90 minutes of full on defence by the Blue Wave team, it was intense!! Our goalkeeper was on 🔥🔥🔥 wow, and so Curaçao scored its first point in the FIFA WC, we are ecstatic 💃🏾🕺🏾💃🏾🕺🏾🇨🇼🎉🤸🏾‍♀️💙#fifaworldcup2026 #curacao #bluenation #eloyroom #dutchroyals by @avafrom77

Honestly the game was nerve-wracking I couldn't film much and I'm no gifted singer either 😆
But as my cousin @glenda_varlack said, to me also the Blue Wave represents a wave of unity washing over Curaçao as a young nation such as never before (15,5 years old), not even so as in Carnaval I heard, and not only does the world see us, we finally see one another. And now we crack on because there's a lot of improvement to consider but boy did we have a great jumpstart thanks to our boys, Dick Advocaat, this special FIFA world cup edition, FFK, Corendon, the support from people worldwide and of course give thanks to the Almighty one who has got our back... That one goal was victory on a whole different level ⚽

The day before the match Germany vs. Curaçao we went to the FIFA fan fest where Jeon was performing his hits. And the legend baseball player Andrew Jones graced us with his presence too!

This World Cup became special because of Curaçao but also because of this specific football team who has a big heart and big faith abd is lifted in prayer all around the world!
Much more happened worldwide on a spiritual level than we will ever know...

Friendly game Curaçao - Aruba in the second half was exactly as I predicted... from where we were sitting they started scoring as the goal was just there and so we would have the best view 😆😅😆
