This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to intern at North Creek Ranch in Mullen, Nebraska. One of the highlights of my time there was getting to be part of an event called Herd bull University and it’s something I think more people should know about.

Herd bull University is all about going back to the basics: hard work, strong values, and living out your faith. It was started by John Howell, Scott Zimmerman, and Trey Ardis, three men who saw the need to pour into young people and families in a world that can feel pretty messy and broken. Their goal is to raise strong, godly, and capable individuals by teaching Christian values, self-reliance, physical toughness, and what it truly means to love, lead, and live with character.

Getting to witness it all firsthand was something I’ll never forget. I heard powerful testimonies, watched young men step up and grow, and got to be surrounded by some of the most genuine and inspiring people I’ve ever met. It was an experience I’m so thankful to have been a part of. taken in Mullen, Nebraska by @avafurrowww

For 18 years, I’ve been blessed to play the game I love and meet the most incredible people along the way. Forever grateful that soccer gave me two homes once a Razorback, forever a Cowgirl. The Lord’s plan is greater than I could have ever imagined. Thank you, Wyoming Soccer and Razorback Soccer, for letting a little girl live out her dream. Woo Pig & Go Pokes! by @avafurrowww
