Dependence is the word the Lord keeps reminding me of whenever I stop & reflect on the past 3 years. I am reminded of countless times when He revealed my need for Him & showed me how much richer life is when I choose to acknowledge & be with Him in every moment. He drew me close to Him in a season of physical lack. He rejoiced with me in the restoration of my body. He comforted me when I stepped away from the sport that was a part of me for so long. He revealed more of His character to me in a season of unknowns. He answered my prayers for rich, deep friendships. He guided me in a season where He allowed me to lead those around me. He sustained me when I began to grow weary from the journey. Every season binding my heart more to His. The valleys weren’t always there to be solved, but to reveal His grace & His desire for me to be dependent on Him. In turn, springing up a well of deep joy that gave me confidence to believe that joy is found wherever He is & He is everywhere. by @avagreene__
