ANDROID ROBERT AU ⁉️ about the cw: I think it's pretty mild, but you know, wires and pulling them and stuff. analogous to gore. but also in a suggestive way ((wireplay))
keep scrolling for an overly detailed analysis of a very simple comic

#dispatch #robertrobertson #flambae #flambert #dispatchgame

I don't usually post stuff like this on main because my sense of shame is strong and smothering, but I didn't want this to stay hidden on my tumblr bc it's kinda consumed my brain
imagine this: dispatch except robert's an android. I feel like it would make all his existing issues worse: the dehumanization, the lack of self preservation, the passive ideation. if he was Literally Made to be mecha man, he'd have an even harder time coming to terms with his own humanity. does this make sense. I'm not crazy guys

they're very tender, here. it's a moment of vulnerability and hope that robert's sharing.

the vulnerability is then shattered: "it looks so real" implies it's not *actually* real. he's not real.
compared to the open and honest full expression we see in the previous page, the remaining expressions are limited and obscured.

emotions...

he's still smiling, but this drawing is simplified and in shadow, like a caricature of joy. he's withdrawn into himself and deflects his emotions with a quip. also, hehe blueprints

initial drawing of android robert I did bc I wanted to draw something messy, but then I thought maybe he should be a robot instead. yeah. face is censored bc that's still a bit much for me to post to my irls lol
idk if anyone actually read my self literature analysis captions but if you did thank you. comment I love robot robertson to get a cookie by @avainquin

I finally got around to actually making a proper TMA piece (other than my one Michael lol)
It’s insanely chaotic and I honestly don’t know how to feel about it. I might’ve tried to fit too much into one piece. I went into this like “oh this will be easy” and then it kinda descended into a miserable 14 part painting study bc there’s so many different things I had to draw ajskfasdfljk;
But!! Here we are. My interpretations of the fears (minus extinction bc Jon wasn’t marked by that one). Comment which one you like the most. I think i like how I did the vast

orufrey having fun times together yippee
I'll have this print starting at Animate Columbus next week! The first batch I printed does have a small mistake in it though 😭 I forgot what color SILVERwood is supposed to be. Genius of geniuses right here. No excuses left for me I'm out of school and getting 8 hours every night I fear I'm just a little dense

My archetypes!! I got a little excited about these :)
They’re heavily based on Chambers’ The King in Yellow (obviously)
Two KIY cultists vs one well meaning butch and/or awesome lesbian couple vs evil and intimidating horse (secret third option is they’re in a sapphic polycule)
I was also told to do my value labs w them so I get to play with my dolls a little longer 😋
