If you knew Ella, you knew that she was the kind of person you don’t come across twice. She was one of the brightest lights in my life. And in many others too. I never thought a time would come where I would be writing this or having to say goodbye to my best friend. I have no words to explain how I feel right now or how much I’ll miss her. Yet I can find so many to describe the kind of human she was. She was spontaneous, loving, unique, selfless, effortlessly funny, and most importantly unapologetically herself. In the 5 years of knowing Ella she taught me so much. She reminded me everyday to be myself. To live life and to dance and sing and make a fool of yourself. That it’s okay to be different and it’s okay to laugh as loud as you can or even cry just as hard. I truly hope everyone gets to experience the love and light of a friend like Ella. She truly soaked up every single moment life gave her. She loved strangers hard and her people even harder. She made everybody she met feel like they belonged. There was not a single second you weren’t smiling if you were with Ella. I’m going to miss her more than anything. She truly did make a difference in so many lives. It will never be the same here without that smile. Ella, you will always have such a special place in so many hearts, especially in mine. Thank you, I’ll love you forever❤️ by @avaj5
