These last few weeks I have truly felt myself saying “Lord, are you sure?” Are you sure I’m the one you’ve called for this? Are you sure this is the place you’ve called me to? and so on… But on Thursday, September 10, it poured rain. He showed me a rainbow. The Lord said “Am I not faithful to my Word?” Let me tell you, He is. The Lord will not back out on His promises. If He has promised you healing, calling, or relationships, He is faithful to follow through. If it doesn’t look how you expect it to, I believe you. Our God is not ordinary and will not always take us down the ordinary, paved path. But know that His path will lead to where He’s promised. by @avakatehammon

I was struck with some real revelation this weekend at Motion conference. I believe if you’re reading this the Lord can use it to speak to you aswell. He ushered me to Revelation 3:1 “You have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead” He said to me, “Ava, no more of this. Let you not only rise up to your reputation but begin to expand it. Let it no longer just be what people think but let it be a reality. Come alive in me.” He said “Wake up Gen Z.” Theres no more time for us to have a reputation of being a revival generation and not ACTUALLY be a revival generation. Our reputation means nothing at the gates of Heaven, our reality is what will be judged.

Joy is the serious business of heaven.
The Lord has restored my joy. Walking out of my senior year camp I felt extremely defeated. I felt like the Lord had done nothing about the things that I have prayed about since my very first youth camp. 3 hours after I left camp, I understood what the Lord was planning. My life started to turn into a fully answered prayer. Walking into Kids camp, my only prayer was to see the hearts of the students and be a safe place. The Lord was so faithful as to let me lead not just my camp small group but also my dorm hall. As my girls would walk into my room just to chat about life and make sure I hadn’t forgotten them. Leaving kids camp, I also was privileged enough to attend the SEU concert. The Lord met me on the floor of Summit Church and reminded me that his timing is always worth the wait. No matter what the circumstances are His plan is always far greater than we could ever ask think or imagine. Lastly, Id like to share that fruit really does take time. taken in Blue Lake Camp by @avakatehammon

On a real note thank you Jesus for SFHS. The people I met there and along the way. The teachers, mentors, and friends I have met the last 13 years will leave a lasting impact on my life. I love you all. Thank you for being a part of my life. by @avakatehammon
