Welcome to my stop in the Bookstagram Tour for The Stargazers by @avalaurengrayson!

Can we just take a moment for this incredible cover? 🥹💜🌸🌌 I was so excited when @mtmctours confirmed that I was on this book tour because the book synopsis for this one intrigued me. I love that this one takes place in space and on a magical planet and can’t wait to get into the story, I’ve only read the first few pages so far and already loving the vibe 🫶🥹. (I’m taking this one on holiday with me 😉)
Also the dedication page ….. LOVE!!!!! 🌟 and there’s a map of Luella 👌🗺️😍.

💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫

On a test mission with the newest members of The Stargazers Project, a top secret program that creates working teenage astronauts, The Stargazers’s space shuttle is sucked into a portal and they crash on a magical planet with a past of its own. Now stranded somewhere in the universe and threatened by fae hunters, unidentified creatures, and secrets beyond their imagination, they must find a way to survive or a way to get back home.

The Stargazers is the first book in a YA Fantasy Space Opera series to be published on 15𝓽𝓱 𝓢𝓮𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻 2026 from @quill.and.flame.publishers.

Advice I give whenever someone asks me for writing suggestions:

1. Make sure the stakes in your book are high (this works for any genre). Readers need to feel the gravity of the situation or predicament your characters are in and the problem can’t be fixed with a simple answer. Your conflict should be complicated and important.
2. Don’t chase a market, write for you and your book will find a home. If you’re a writer who chases a trend, by the time you finish and pitch your book, it’s too late. The trend is over. Book deals happen two years before the book is released. So write for you, and your book will find the right publisher at the right time.
3. Get beta readers. It’s important to have had edited your manuscript before you query. Make sure it’s polished and there are no glaring holes in the plot.
4. Research your genre and be up-to-date on current deals and books in your niche. This helps with comp titles for your query!
