romanticizing the time I had browsing books in London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I’m currently reading a book for school called the people of paper by salvador plascencia, it’s really weird & really interesting. It’s magical realism & mainly has to do with the idea of “narrative.” I have not read leisurely but hopefully soon. 🤞

I feel like I arguably deserve a medal bc after the biggest slump of my life I finally finished EMPIRE OF STORMS ⚔️💜

Here’s a mini review: LOVED IT! Ending was so good, the build up, the tension, GREAT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, love the way the storytelling was executed, the ending was fast paced and thrilling! I forgot how much I loved this series once I started reading again!

update: I finally finished a book because life’s been busy so here is my review on Katherine center’s The Rom-commers and some fun highlights

4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A cute little romance book! The dialogue was written pretty well, characters were cute, the romance was cute and it was also intertwined with some heavy topics and the contrast of the two was well written. As cute as the book was, I feel like I read it a little too choppy (my mistake bc of my slump). So I don’t know if I really enjoyed it as much as I could’ve had I finished it faster. I also think I am just craving the world of fantasy which is why I’m going to go back to throne of glass!

Overall, I’m just happy I finished a book LOL by @avalenoraslibrary

I recently went on a big trip and when I came back, I started school, went back to work and haven’t had time to read !! and I’m literally about to finish my book I think I have an hour an a half left but I just haven’t felt motivated! which is okay 🫶 I’ll read when I can 😊 by @avalenoraslibrary

Mini Book Review 📘

~ The Housemaid by Freida McFadden ~

4 out of 5 ⭐️’s

Bizarre in the best way. A fast paced thriller that had me thinking “what is going on?” and “what is going to happen?” all the time. Some parts were a little predictable but I didn’t care. It gave me Verity vibes and kept me hooked from start to finish! Fun read! by @avalenoraslibrary
