Behold... The Aftermovie 2026!

It feels like a lifetime ago already... but watching this shows just how much was felt and experienced.

We’ve just passed the autumn equinox, and this video takes us straight back to the very beginning of summer, to those long days on the land of Avalon, when we gathered and created something truly special together.

What an incredible field we created. A space where we could express ourselves so fully, move so freely, connect so deeply, and simply be.

The land of Avalon held us so gracefully. It gave us the space for so much magic, play, depth and discovery. And even now, months later, it only takes a few minutes of watching these images to travel right back there and bathe in the afterglow.

Beautifully captured by @samuelgeorgephotofilm ❤️

And the beautiful thing is, it’s not over :)

Tickets for Avalon Dance Odyssey 2027 are still in the first phase.

We can’t wait to return to these sacred lands and do it all again. A completely new adventure, waiting to unfold.

See you in Avalon. 🌿 by @avalondanceodyssey

The dates are set!!! We’re back next year! Same beautiful land, same stunning space, same (similar!) group of gorgeous people & a whole new juicy line up of international talent to move your bodies & hearts!!

This time we’ll be building up directly to the summer solstice and a sunrise dance ceremony on the hillside to welcome it in! 💛🌞💛

The returning attendee presale sold out in less than 24hrs, so we have added a few extra along with our first wave tickets out now. Pay in installments over the whole year to make it super affordable!

It’s going to be BIG! We can feel it in our bones 🥰🔥 join us??!! 💫🌞💫 taken in Avalon by @avalondanceodyssey

Festivals can take many forms, each offering something special ✨️ At Avalon Dance Odyssey, we choose to bring our focus to one thing: the depth and beauty of the dance journey.
💃

We want to create a space where people can truly arrive, feel part of the group, and explore what becomes possible when we give ourselves fully to the dance. Every workshop, soundscape and shared moment is thoughtfully chosen to support that journey 🌱

With a gathering of up to 300 people, we have the space to grow together, connect more deeply and experience the unfolding of a shared journey 🤍

Swipe through to discover the vision behind Avalon Dance Odyssey, and join us from June 17 till 21, in Glastonbury, UK. taken in Glastonbury, Somerset, United Kingdom by @avalondanceodyssey

Can you feel it? The deepening inwards as we drop into the dreamy longer nights and cosy evenings here in the northern hemisphere…

Autumn Equinox energies were big, bringing up many health and personal matters to take care of, as well as ripe rewards & change.

We are all still riding the waves and we wish you smooth journeys into the underworld. Magic is more visible here, time to listen deeply and cast your spells.

We approach the third harvest - Samhain - a final integration of this years cycle. Let your body soften a little & slow down. What are you still receiving from this years bounty? ✨🍎✨

Sending much love from Team Avalon 🫶🏼 by @avalondanceodyssey

Deepening our practice. Exploring new ways to move - on our own or in connection, relating deeper to our voice or breath, listening to inspiring words and thoughts. The extended time together opens up new possibilities in our body and mind, and a chance to explore these concepts together.

Thank you so much to all of this years facilitators! What practice would you like to experience at the next Avalon?

Spaciousness 🍃🌳🍃 One of our intentions for Avalon Damce Odyssey is not to pack so much into the time that you leave overwhelmed. There is a paced journey over the 5 days that leaves space to breathe, rest, nap, connect with nature… we want the experience to nourish and resource you and us providing a framework that supports that is essential 🤗🤍

Just over 2 months have passed since we walked and danced this land in Avalon. How have you journeyed since then? Sending hugs wherever you are!

Looking back we can say we definitely appreciate these hot, spacious shower cabins - pretty luxury for a festival site!

What would make your washing facilities even better next year? Let us know!

A summer of festivals ✨💃🏻🎶 You'll probably need to pause to read! 📖

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy quite a few different festivals this summer, each with its own unique energy, people, and magic! 🪄

Last month was @avalondanceodyssey - lots of expressive music and dancing in the beautiful landscape around the Tor. The harp particularly resonated with me and, afterwards, I was reminded of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And, of course, in alignment with that tale, we too were celebrating the Summer Solstice during the festival.

All in all, these thoughts (and an active WhatsApp group chat) inspired me to write this reflection: Midsummer Night’s Dream in Avalon 🌙✨
