Next Wave : Artist Interview

@avalowry_art

We’re excited to share more of seven commissioned videos produced by the fantastic @takeasiesta_, offering an insight into the practice of our exhibiting artists - do you like this style of interview presentation?

This series explores the ideas, inspirations, and processes behind the work featured in Next Wave: A Graduate Showcase—giving you a deeper understanding to the artists featured in this show. How interesting is Ava’s practice?

Stay tuned as we release the full line up of artists over the final week of Next Wave.

Have you planned your visit? Next wave open all week for the final week - Wed-Sat 10.00-5.30 & Sun 12.00-5.00

Produced by Tom McLean & Take A Siesta and partly supported by Galway City Council.

An original watercolour painting, ‘To Quiet #2 Series, 2024’ by artist, @avalowry_art that we had the pleasure of framing for our gallery’s current exhibition, ‘Next Wave’ running until March 16.

For this series of watercolour paintings we chose to float the piece on a white mount background with a dark walnut 3D Box Frame to complement the brown, natural tones within the work.

This piece is available for purchase in our gallery space, along with other work in the show. Visit us to see original artwork and custom frame your pieces with us. We are open today 12 - 5.
