My mother is slow to speak and quick to listen. She is bold in her convictions and is determined for the world to know who the Savior is. She is the woman who tells me that my identity and all that I may need is found in the Lord.

Her voice is a megaphone to the world, preaching the gospel with no boundaries. She works tirelessly for the lost to be brought home.

My mother knows the Father’s voice and has led me to know it too. Thank you mama for the impact your life has had on me and the thousands of lives you’ve impacted.

I love you.

When I close my eyes and fix my mind on things above, I see You and all Your glory. I imagine Your head white as wool and Your eyes like fire. I picture Your voice sounding like rushing waters and Your feet like polished bronze. When You speak, a sword escapes from Your mouth, and many come to watch.

I know You are faithful and true. I know You are the visible image of the invisible God. I know that You hold everything together. And still, You are patient with me.

When I read Your Scripture, I feel Your Word stir in my heart, and all I want to do is scream it from the rooftops. by @avalthomas

Why do I forget who holds my life in His hands? I am constantly forgetting what my Savior has done for me. He saved me. He redeemed me. He set me free. And he is the eternal rock who holds all things together. Lord allow me to continually let go of my life so that I can find it in you. 🤍 by @avalthomas
