A pinch me moment for this small Aussie brand! 🥹 An absolute dream to be awarded Gold & editors choice in the Australia & NZ Clean & Conscious Awards this year and to have unbelievable experts like my business idol @krumble reviewing our beautiful wetsuits 🥹🥹♥️♥️. We have worked hard over the last three years to create a brand that cares for the planet and to be recognised for this and the quality of our products is so humbling. Thank you to everyone that has cheered me on these last couple of years. Running a small biz is no easy feat when you have little feet all around you but I’m proud of myself and I’m so grateful to each of you for believing in a brand that you hadn’t heard of before and giving us a shot ✨♥️ Together, we will end neoprene, one darn cute, natural rubber wetsuit at a time 🥰♥️ Lots of love Alyssa xx by @avaly_label

I’m Alyssa and the Founder of AVALY.☀️ I created AVALY because I couldn’t find a natural rubber, super cute wetsuit for my little son and then I couldn’t find swimwear for myself that was sustainable, sun safe but classy and classic! I’m on a mission to create a sustainable beach lifestyle brand that puts the planet and the customer first, always! I have loved building this community over the last year and a half and have met so many beautiful people on here! People say Instagram can bring out the worst in people, but this community only seems to bring out the best 🤍✨ so thank you! Few things about me: - I’m vegetarian 🌱🌎 - I have two little kids 👧🏼🧒🏽 - I sing the wrong lyrics to every song 🎼 - My front tooth is fake and doesn’t glow at bowling/ discos/ karoeke 🤣 - I snort with laughter. Often.🤭 - I worked in neurology for 10 years as a Speech Path and there are days where I just want to jump back in and treat my beautiful patients 🥹🧠 -I worked in retail in fashion for 6 years prior to being a Speech Path 👗 - Most of the time I have no idea what I am doing with AVALY but I just keep going 🤣 - My two main values with AVALY is always put the planet first and have incredible customer service 🌎🥰 Thanks for being here! For choosing us! For choosing the planet 🌎♥️ Alyssa x by @avaly_label

I’ve always loved this song. But these lyrics feel even more special now. For all the mums out there building careers & businesses and then feeling the pull of not growing as fast as you’d like vs being present for your babies or your career not going in the direction you had always planned because you’ve taken time off, just remember that you’re doing perfectly fine and you should be darn proud of that ❤️ by @avaly_label
