One of the first places I brought Teddy was to a bookstore, and when we moved to Excelsior we fell in love with the town in part because of its bookstore, by @avalynnyyang

It’s game day and we are oh so excited in this house - let’s go Liverpool! ⚽️

Are you a football (fútbol, footie or soccer) fan? These boys (and their dad) can’t get enough! by @avalynnyyang

Sidekick who vibes on Fall as much as I do (even though it’s 80° today) 🎒 by @avalynnyyang

Mentally getting into this headspace for the next few months and here for it! Word has it that tomorrow is the first day of Fall, so tonight…cleaning, nesting and getting extra cozy! 🍂🍁 by @avalynnyyang

Living for these moments of wonder 💫✨For as long as the days have been, the months are going by far too fast. Every time his little arms reach out for a hug, I drop everything and just sit in that snuggle for as long as he will let me. by @avalynnyyang

Taking a moment to appreciate this wonderful man as we celebrate 6 years of marriage and 9 years together. We aren’t typically the public accolade type, but that sure as heck doesn’t mean that he doesn’t deserve it every day. by @avalynnyyang

There are few things I love more than a big old fireplace. 🔥 Quite truly, we burn a fire about 150 times a year, and it ever gets old. Ben could do without the smell of bonfire, but me?! All day, every day! Books, cribbage, whiskey, wool blankets, The Holiday… oh my goodness does being up North make me giddy for Fall 🍁🍂🍁 by @avalynnyyang

Scruff (tucked in by Teddy) is a total vibe this Monday 🤷🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️✌🏼 by @avalynnyyang

Today happens to be Harry Potter Day, and this guys happens to have quite the affinity for Harry Potter, as evidenced here, on the Hogwart’s Express. 🪄 💫No, our house isn’t decorated as a Common Room, but a secret room is definitely in our expansion plans and he knows every line of every book. 📚 Thus, here I find myself planning a surprise Hogwart’s Feast (no, he doesn’t look at Insta) for a movie night in the backyard…so, how to make roast beef and Yorkshire pudding?! 👩🏻‍🍳 by @avalynnyyang
