whoever got the honor to meet my father was incredibly lucky. it’s hard to put into words how loving, selfless, non-judgmental and full of life he was. he taught me everything I need to know about how to be a great friend, daughter, and sister. his life’s work of being on tv news for nearly 40 years makes me so extremely proud. what made me the most proud is how everyone he met would come up to me and tell me what an amazing guy he was, and how funny and loving he was without trying. he would give the shirt off his back to anyone. I’m so excited to continue to follow in his footsteps at Texas State University and make him proud. rest in peace to the best dad ever. I miss you so much by @avar0berts
