Dance,

When you have continued something since you were 3 years old, you kind of get used to the feeling of it just being there. Taking it for granted sometimes even. But you always end up coming back to loving it one way to another. And when you reach the end of the road for something you have loved for almost your entire life, it feels surreal when you realize that it really doesn’t last forever. And that the long rehearsals, screaming on the sides of the studio during practice cheering each other on, uncountable inside jokes, stepping onto the stage, and countless memories are left behind in an era of life you will never get back. And all you wish is to get those days back, even the ones where you thought, in the moment, was the last place you want to be. But you are confident in knowing that it has shaped you into who you are today in so many amazing ways.

Millennium Dance Company, thank you for all of the amazing friendships and memories you have given me these past 8 years. I truly cherish this studio and I am so blessed to have spent so many years training with the most amazing, supportive staff along the sweetest and funniest friends. To my team, thank you for making this year the most special, successful year we could have ever asked for. You guys are my best friends and I am so thankful for each and every one of you. This dream team will forever have a special place in my heart.

This is my last and hardest goodbye yet, especially with saying farewell to the most amazing season, but I will always be grateful for the love, support, and opportunities Millennium has given me. I can’t wait to come cheer you all on from the other side in the near future. I love you MDC.
