Another fantastic project we managed to finish with @avarwenofficial

‘’Colors of the Wind’’ was a very hard song to pull of because of the different parts the piece has, so making them dynamically different was the real challenge. And if you bring the vocal into the play, then it gets even harder.

It was pure knowledge for me orchestrating and arranging this. I learned way more stuff than I should 😄

Thank you so much to everyone who has listened to and supported Memories, the tribute Stuart and I created for my dear Nana and Grandad.

Reading all of your kind words, messages, and shared stories has meant more to me than I could ever truly express. This piece came from a very deep and emotional place in my heart, and seeing it connect with others has brought comfort during such a difficult goodbye.

My Nana and Grandad gave me so much love, warmth, joy, and wonder throughout my life. Though I now say farewell to them and the home filled with so many beautiful memories, they will forever live within my heart.

Thank you all for holding space for this music, for your compassion, and for allowing their memory to continue living on through every listen. ❤️

New Release by Avarwen and Stuart Lloyd

Memories was born from a moment I will carry with me forever. My grandad once shared that all of his most beautiful memories felt as though they were gently falling around him, like leaves drifting from the trees. Each one holding a story, a feeling, and beauty. That image stayed with me, and through this piece, Stuart and I tried to give it a voice.

This track is my way of honouring both my nana and grandad. Their love, their lives, and the quiet, enduring beauty of the moments they created. My grandfather meant so much to me, he gave me the gift of music, and a deep love for nature and wonder that continues to shape who I am today. I miss him so dearly. Every note is filled with gratitude, remembrance, and the hope that these memories never truly fade, but continue to fall softly around us, reminding us of all that was and all that still lives within our hearts.

Stuart and I truly hope this piece resonates with anyone who has recently experienced loss, or simply needs a gentle place to land, reflect, and feel held in the presence of their own memories.
