Orange belt debut. Two matches. Two wins. Gold. 🥇🧡

Thank you @drl_jiujitsu, and @inevatjiujitsu who keep raising the bar, my irreplaceable teammates who sharpen me every day, and my family who never stops showing up.

New belt. Same pressure. 🔥

Don’t be fooled by the medals. This is what they’re made of. Two hours in. Tired, soaked, exhausted and still working. Nothing about this comes easy. 🥋#avavalentinalara #inevatjiujitsu #bjjgirls taken in Inevāt Jiu Jitsu by @avavalentinabjj

Losing the person i looked up to in so many ways , my heart is heavy . Alexa was the most funniest , kindest most genuine and outspoken girl you can meet , she’s the person you can only find once in a life time and for me , it was her. we were supposed to drive our parents crazy forever with the jokes we made at dinner that only you and i understood, we were supposed to annoy our parents for every second they couldn’t be there to see us compete. thank you for all the memories we shared laughing or completely being unserious while ragebaiting everyone around us. I’m going to miss hearing you laugh and even hearing you get frustrated when i pull guard right after you told me not too. I looked up to you so much, from bjj to wrestling to who you are as a person and how you carried yourself. As i continue to step onto these mats without you , I know there will always be a piece of you with me. Our inside jokes will forever be missed but most of all , i’ll forever miss you. I’ll see you again someday but till then, rest in peace Alexa I love you forever 🤍🕊️

When competition class is already hard and then the one and only Professor Jackson Nagai randomly walks in 😭🥋

Thank you Professor @ortegfe for a very hard class today and Professor @nagaijackson for getting on the mats with us. Still kind of crazy getting opportunities to learn from people I normally watch compete.
Very grateful. Very tired. 😮‍💨😂

🧡 **ORANGE!!** 🧡

Train. Drill. Compete. Repeat. And that is how I earned my new belt 🧡.

So many hours on the mats, but definitely not just mine. My professors spend just as many hours teaching me, fixing my mistakes, pushing me, and at that mat coaching me through every match. My teammates keep showing up, keep pushing me, and make training not just hard, but fun. And my family drives, flies, waits, cheers, stresses (😵‍💫) and supports all of it.

I get to wear the belt, but I definitely didn’t get here alone.

Obrigada por sempre acreditarem em mim, professores.

New era🧡!!

Today I received my solid orange belt and I couldn’t be happier! After walking away from pans with a heavy heart , I knew the work was not done yet. I am just a few months away till I will be in the juvenile division and a whole new world of bjj. I joined this team a bit over a year ago and with the best professors and incredible teammates I am forever thankful to be apart of an amazing team. Thank you everyone at @inevatjiujitsu for getting me to where I am now.

Thank you professors @matheusgabrieljj @matheus_limabjj @samuelnagai @franciscolojj for continuing to believe in what I can do and pushing me to do my best. I’m so excited to see what’s next!🧡✨ by @avavalentinabjj

PAN AMS 26’ ⏳✨

Every practice, every workout and every little change made to our game is down to this moment. I am three days away from my last Pan kids and my last big opportunity to show out before I move into the juvenile division. I’m ready and I’m excited to fight on this stage one last time. Let’s go!!💗
