GHJA Finals 2025

“Carvas” had a great time at both of our first finals!
We got Champion out of 22 in the .90 Jr/Am with 🥇&🥇 and Reserve Champion of the open .90s with 🥇&🥈. We also got 🥇 out of 26 in the $1000 Jr/Am .90 Stakes and got 7th in the $250 .90 Stakes with the fastest time of both classes but a rider rail.
Grey also went clear in the meter Charity Challenge as Alvin and the Chipmunks (#2) with Josie and Ellie getting 9th out of 21 teams. We had a great time and I had so much fun for my first time in the meter.
So very happy with this amazing mare after such a successful finals!! Grey definitely gave me the best first time experience I could have had🫶
thank you @jaidstables for the amazing training and @jennwood625 for the support and the amazing pony! taken in Wills Park Equestrian Center by @avaw.eq

Happy gotcha day Bear 🐻 The past two years with this pony has been full of so many highs and lows, but throughout it all Bear has always been a constant in my life that i’ve been able to fall back on. I’m so grateful to have such a perfect pony in my life and forever. Hopefully i’ll be able to make many more posts like these for years to come🤍♾️ by @avaw.eq

May CCO🪴

Me and “Kadee van de Blakmeers” had such a great time at the past Cheryl & Co, even with the soggy weather and cold rain! We had some fun rounds in the .90s and ended up with 🥈,🥈,🥉 ,and 4th out of 19- even with me forgetting how to ride a couple times lol. Super happy with how we finished out our last show together with lots of improvements from our first show. I’m so grateful I got the chance to lease such a kind and forgiving pony these past few months as Kadee made me a much stronger rider🤍

also thank you so much @jaidstables for the training and for all the help getting to know Kadee these past 7 months!💎

CCO Spring l🌼

Late post but Me and “Kadee van de Blakmeers” had a spectacular time at the last show loving the nice weather! In the .85s we got 🥇, 🥈, & 4th to end Champion for the weekend 🏆! In the .90s we got 🥇 & 5th out of a large group with some rider rails keeping us back. So so happy with how we grew from the last show and i’m hoping me and Kadee will be able to get back in the show ring after his leg heals!

Thank you @jaidstables for all the training and support- i’m so grateful for all the help i’ve gotten in the past few months & how much stronger i’ve gotten! taken in Wills Park Equestrian Foundation by @avaw.eq

Happy 5th birthday, Bear! From the moment you came into my life, you’ve been the biggest joy, my best friend, and the best show partner. Watching you grow into the horse you are today has been an amazing journey, and i’m thankful every single moment we’ve shared. Every nap in the sunshine, every ride through the fields, and every kiss you give me for a treat remind me how lucky I am to have you by my side. You are my forever friend and I can’t imagine my world without you. I’m endlessly grateful for our partnership and here’s to many more birthdays, countless adventures, and a lifetime of love. I love you more than anything, my sweet Bear❤️🐻 by @avaw.eq

March CCO 🌷

“Kadee Van De Blakmeers” was spectacular at the first Cheryl & Co show of the year! We got 🥈,🥉, 5th, & 5th out of 11 in the .90s with some great rounds. Even though it got very chilly on Sunday, I had a great time hanging out with this sweet horse and some great barn mates! Having a horse like Kadee to learn from is so nice since he’s so forgiving and saves my butt all the time🐻‍❄️

Thank you so much @jaidstables for all your amazing help this weekend- couldn’t do it without you! #jaidmade

CCO Halloween ‘24🎃

Bear really tried his hardest last weekend as we had fun stepping back into the hunters! On Saturday we did the Green Hunters and got 5th & 5th out of a good group of pretty horses. On Sunday we got 🥈,🥉, & 4th in the Thoroughbred Hunters with some extremely steady rounds (and he got all his changes!)

Bear really blew me away this weekend. The last time we did the hunters we barely got a single lead change, we were running, and we were leaning heavily on the forehand. This weekend Bear was focused, sitting back, and getting every change I asked for. He even picked up his left lead for the first time in a flat class (even being on the long side) which is something we’ve been working on for the past year. It’s so nice for me to be able to do something that we can both enjoy now since he’s finally thinking about how he’s using his body! So unbelievably proud of my boy this weekend and how much he’s grown in the past few months. I’ll love this horse forever and always ❤️

Officially one whole year with the horse of a lifetime❤️

In the last 365 days Bear has absolutely changed my life. He is the most forgiving, sweet, patient horse that i’ve ever met and I can’t believe that I had the luck of getting to own such an amazing horse. I’m so proud of him with how far he’s come since we bought him- when he first came home he was jumping 2’ green courses with minimal changes and barely any left lead, but with the time that we’ve put into him he’s become such a reliable horse going up to the .95s with changes and a fixed lead. Looking forward to the next 365 days with this boy🫶 by @avaw.eq

WPEF Benifit Show✔️

Last weekend at the Benefit Show was great- even though there were long days and the heat was slightly unbearable I had a great time hanging out with friends and the best team!

“Teddy Bear” was so perfect moving up to the .95s and earning us 🥈, 4th, 5th & 6th with all the lower placings being rider issues. So happy with Bear and he really showed me how much of an angel he is!🧸❤️

”Parhelion” was such a fun ride in the eq challenge both days with good flats just having a mistake right in front of the judge both days. Even though it was my first time riding him he was such a sweet boy and so fun to ride- thank you so much @crookedcreekfarmeq for letting me ride him! 💙

Thank you so much @empireequestrian1 for the amazing training! Bear gets a few weeks of much deserved rest then we’ll be back for the halloween shows!! 🎃

Tryon Summer Finale🔥✔️

Bear and I had the best time at Tryon over the weekend getting to compete in the big stadium!! It was super hot but Bear stayed cool somehow and I got to enjoy the hot weather!

On Friday we got a blue ribbon round & 4th place in the .80s, and on Saturday and Sunday we got to move up to the .90s and earned 🥇 by six seconds, 5th with an unlucky rail, & blue ribbon round!!

Thank you so so much Ansley, Daniel, and @empireequestrian1 for the training and support!!

Next show is WPEF Benefit 🔜🔜
