In about a month, I will be putting on my first theatrical directing debut since college and I could not be more excited to be back at @hollywoodfringe presenting @threesomeatfringe (written by my talented bestie @ellenrelac) for you all!!

NEXT SATURDAY 5/9, my team is hosting a fundraiser/scene showcase to raise money for our production (check last slide)! If you’re looking to come see some theater in the park and hang out, maybe play some games, and see what the show’s gonna be about, we’d love to have you💚

Also… TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW! We have 5 shows, check the link in my bio, this show is fun and raunchy and relatable and explores the sexual politics of camp counselors… hope to see you all there🤠 by @avaz1246

MEET OUR DIRECTOR! @avaz1246

Q: What drew you to “I Totally Would’ve Had a Threesome With You”?
A: I believe many people have felt the influence of groupthink- whether from work, clubs, school, sports team, etc., and have been pressured to sacrifice their values and well being in order to maintain the stasis of said environment. While some work can beat around the bush when discussing the themes of this play, I really enjoy that ITWHATWY attacks themes of boundary pushing, people pleasing, and the effects of sexual violence head on.

Q: What are you most excited for in directing the piece?
A: THIS CAST! The opportunities to play. There are so many dichotomies that exist within this work. I’m incredibly excited to see how we attack shifts in tone and subtext through blocking and text work.

Q: What themes are you drawn to exploring in your work?
A: At the moment, explorations of identity and the grace we must give each other while experiencing confusing, grey areas of our personal morality and relation to others.

Q: What’s your dream camp activity?
A: Making s’mores and singing songs underneath a starry sky🏕️ by @avaz1246
