Figured I’d post some progress of the Integra. I’ve been terrible about documenting the this whole rebuild process. About two months ago I got the car running after soldiering 17 wires in the engine bay, and removing the aftermarket car alarm. I was surprised the car started so easily on 12yr old gas 🤦🏿‍♂️. Then I went back to removing the all the interior plastics except the dash to deep clean and get rid of all the mold. Was able to clean up the carpet except for that big rust spot that will be hidden under the seat once reinstalled. The build has come to halt after discovering how rusty the gas tank and sending unit was. by @avebechillin

Well today I figured today I’ll to see if these floor mats are worth saving. I’ve cleaned a set before but not this bad. After a few hours of scraping rust particles, pressure washing and scrubbing, I believe they came out pretty decent. I ain’t happy with the driver side mat but I’m sure that’s the cleanest it’s gonna get. #acura #integra #gsr #dc2 by @avebechillin

This weekend I picked up a car that I’ve been trying to buy for the last 3yrs. Big shoutout to my cousin @nothingmorenothingless for securing the car for me. After seeing this that in person I low key wanted to throw in the towel before I even started lol. The previous turn this car into trash can / storage unit smh. Took me about 9hrs total somewhat clean out the inside and engine bay. I ain’t gone cap this a legit project but I plan on taking my time with this one. This is 7th time owning a integra and this will be the last for sure! Also shoutout to @magic_rod for helping me get this in the garage. by @avebechillin

Finally was able to clean the car up a little bit with the clay bar. It actually was actually able to bring out some shine in the paint. All it needs now is a little wax after I get the new hood painted and top installed. by @avebechillin
