Costa Mesa has an incredible coffee scene! Over the past week, I set out to explore a few of the cafés featured in the Grind Guide by @travelcostamesa, which features over 30 local coffee shops across the city. From thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks to unique neighborhood spots, each café had its own atmosphere and personality. There’s truly a coffee spot for everyone, no matter what you’re searching for.

Each stop offered something different, from beautiful drinks and creative flavors to hidden gems you might otherwise miss.

It took me three months to finally edit this mini vlog but I am so excited to share!

Back in June I competed in my first ballroom competition away from home at the Vegas Open Dance Challenge with Lisa and Peter. It was a whirlwind 24 hours in Vegas filled with a mini road trip, tons of laughs, and one big surprise when I realized halfway there that I forgot my ID 😅

I competed in both International Latin and Standard ballroom. This was also my final Latin competition in the bronze division, which made it a huge milestone in my dance journey. 🥇

Such a great time with even greater company. 11/10 would absolutely do it again!

This past weekend, I stopped by South Coast Plaza to enjoy the annual Lunar New Year festivities! The stunning displays and neon lights created the perfect festive atmosphere for celebrating the Year of the Snake.

We explored several stores showcasing Lunar New Year collections, including Sandro, Miu Miu, Chloé, Maje, and Bloomingdale’s. The little snake-inspired details were such a cute touch! 🐍 At Bloomingdale’s, I was lucky enough to catch the dragon dance, and I even got to “lì xì” the dragons for good luck 🧧🧧🧧

After shopping, we stopped by @blossomsandbrass for drinks and their wagyu crudo—a savory snack that was absolutely delicious, highly recommend!

Dinner at @paradisedynasty_usa was the perfect way to end the day, featuring their famous xiao long bao. As much as I love trying the different flavors, the classic xiao long bao with vinegar and ginger garnish is always my go-to fave.

@southcoastplaza truly captures the festive spirit of Lunar New Year every year. There’s still time to enjoy the celebrations, so don’t miss out on the stunning displays, exclusive collections, and incredible dining options!

I had the most unforgettable time this past Saturday at the @pacificsymphony annual Lunar New Year celebration, hosted at @segerstromarts. The celebration beautifully captured the spirit of Lunar New Year and reflected the energy and wisdom of the Wood Snake through incredible performances that honored traditions from across Asia.

The atmosphere was truly so vibrant and special, with many attendees embracing the celebration in beautiful traditional attire. I found it the perfect opportunity to wear my áo dài. It was a powerful reminder of the richness and diversity within our communities, all coming together to share in this joyous occasion.
