Every time there is a Baustelle in Zürich, the old trees are chopped off - even if it's not needed. Just a potential minor inconvenience for the builders - and the old trees are gone... They are irreplaceable. It takes decades to achieve this size...

It really should be forbidden.

You know what's important when traveling with children? Comfortable and clean toilets!

@zurichairport has delivered wonderfully! In the family toilets there are small toilets designed for children! And they are immaculately clean, of course. Should be a standard everywhere.

We all love it when big companies f*** us over, don't we?

Here is an example of @sbbcffffs doing it. One buys a ticket to a concert at KKL (@kklluzern), the small print at the ticket tells you you have a 50% discount on the public transport ticket but doesn't tell you how to get it.

You buy a ticket electronically - we are in the 21st century, after all. Then ask @zuercherverkehrsverbund for a refund as per the ticket promise. They send you to @sbbcffffs. Why? No one knows. Fine. You write to SBB.

@sbbcffffs takes their sweet time to answer. And... come back with the standard response about ticket returns and basically tells you to f off. Not a word about the KKL ticket offer. Just eff off.

One is left with a nice taste in the mouth...

Do you love miniatures?! We do. They are so nerdy :).

The Swiss Miniatures park in Ticino is packed with tiny wonders and joys. We love treating it as a travel prompt - so many things we haven't seen yet here in Switzerland!

The disappointing part, as so often in Switzerland, is the food: crappy fried stuff, all served in plastic. So rather bring your own.

We bought tickets via the SBB's Railway offer together with the train tickets - saved a few francs.
