Shed season 2022 is officially over for me! Ended the year with 168 sheds, my best year to date. Explored new country, hiked a ton of miles, and made some great memories in the mountains!

After 5 years, missed opportunities, and close calls, it all came together on Monday. The pack out was hell but worth every second!

#flashbackfriday to when my kiddo found her first elk shed. The look on her face is something I will never forget!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 shed season! Ended with 78 sheds, my worst season in the last 4 years but still had a fun year! Battled the lack of snow, explored new country, and made the best of it! From grizzly encounters to incredible views, memories are always made in the mountains!

There is something about that fresh elk shed smell. Lola knows what I’m talking about!
