not necessarily a dump…but just one picture to sum up the closing to my 2025.

If I’m being honest, I thought my 2025 was somewhat uneventful which is actually REALLY CRAZY bc now looking back on it, I actually accomplished quite a lot. I turned 25(quarter life crisis LMAOO), i graduated, i worked on choosing myself instead of choosing others, i spontaneously relocated, i found a new job on my own, i was more present during family time, i became more active and have been consistent with a healthier lifestyle….and so much more!!

I’m proud of myself and my wins…thank you 2025 for all the lessons I’ve learned about myself & and all the memories I created!

2026 bring it on sister bc I have something for you!!!!🥊🥊

I get emotional writing this because it’s so refreshing to finally not be depressed during graduation season. My journey here at UNT has FINALLY come to an end and it couldn’t be more bittersweet. Throughout my time here I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. My peers around me, social media, and even the movies made this entire college thing look SO easy! Like Elle Woods said it herself “what like it’s hard?”..and yes…it LITERALLY WAS! I continuously compared my journey to others around me not realizing that it really didn’t matter. Because of this, I did not give myself as much grace as I should have with being a full time student and working to pay for my tuition. This caused me to never really celebrate my wins no matter how big or small they were. The only thing I focused on was that one “bad” test grade or how “BEHIND” I was still being here. But as I sit back and reminisce the memories of my college experience I can say I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF MYSELF. To get through this important milestone in my life is beyond rewarding because there were many times I honestly didn’t think it was possible and wanted to just drop out. But THANK GOD I DIDN’T am I right?!!
Being here I met so many lovely people that I now call friends, I’ve experienced some CRAZYYYYY life experiences, and lastly but most importantly, I learned a lot about myself as a person, a student, and a future educator/coach. I want to thank everyone who supported me along the way. The ones who were my constant cheerleaders, the ones who had their shoulders ready for me to cry on, and the ones who made me smile+laugh as much as I could even when I didn’t want to. So CHEERS!🥂

CHEERS to the WINS, CHEERS to the GRIT, CHEERS to PATIENCE, CHEERS to PRIORITIZING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, CHEERS to BALANCING BEING FULL TIME STUDENT+WORKING, and lastly CHEERS to doing things ON YOUR OWN DANG TIMELINE!!
