To my sweet baby Milo,

Taking you on your last ever truck ride to the vet this morning was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, knowing that you wouldn’t be coming back home with me to Nana and Papa. As hard as it was to be by your side as you slipped away peacefully to doggy heaven, I am beyond grateful that I got to be the one by your side holding you in your final moments. I know you are no longer in any pain, which brings me, Nana and Papa so much happiness. You lived one hell of a good and long life, and you were such a good boy and always will be. You were the best dog we could’ve ever asked for Milo. I know you are already running around as fast as you can, chasing as many animals as possible with our other dogs in heaven and eating all the peanuts and cow shit in the world! I will forever miss pulling up to the house and seeing you run your ass off to my car and giving me all the love you could give me. Thank you for being my best friend, Milo. Till we meet again, rest easy my sweet boy.

Love,
