The best & happiest 1 year of being their coach! My kids are the most funny, hardworking, and talented cheerleaders to ever exist (I’m obviously biased ;))!!! Before taking this job, I was “warned” about coaching high school cheer—especially coming into a situation that was nothing short of complicated and messy. Becoming a head coach at 22 was not at all part of “the plan”. But I KNEW God aligned every step post-grad for me to walk into what felt like mission impossible.

Without the power of God in everything I do, I really am completely inadequate.

These girls are my everything. They are the definition of grit and determination. With half the time everyone else had, they still walked off the nationals floor in tears of joy. They are kind, sweet, funny, and carried each other through every mountain and valley this year threw at them. “Proud” doesn’t even begin to describe it. And we’ve got something to prove next year.

To my girls: I love you to the moon, and I would choose you over and over again. To my seniors, I can’t wait to see you conquer the world, you handled the chaos gracefully. Thank you for sharing your bittersweet lasts with us.

To my coaching staff: none of this would have been possible without you. You are the heart of this team.

Thank you, Jesus, for equipping me with the tools to lead and for the opportunity to continue doing what I love.
