i don’t think i could ever explain how much these people mean to me! they are my best friends, my biggest encouragers, the people who make me laugh the most, my safe place, and so much more! God truly gave me the best family EVER! don’t know what i would do without them! by @avery.boz

what a blessing it was to spend a week with these kids! all week we had the privilege of getting to know, love, serve, and encourage these kids with the truth of the gospel. we talked about how, as Christians, we are called to live differently than the world. our love for Jesus should overflow into all the other relationships in our lives in a way that doesn’t make sense, but can only be explained by a heart that has been fixed towards Christ and changed by Him. we talked about what it looks like to be the light of Christ in a world that loves the darkness. our group went to the Dominican Republic to encourage the kids with these truths, but i had no idea what an encouragement they would be to me. it is so evident that God is already at work in the lives of these kids. they have an unwavering, eternal joy that can only be found in Christ and have a deep dependence on Him in every part of their lives. they make me want to know, love, and depend on the Lord even more. i am so thankful i had the opportunity to serve them this week and to be a witness of an amazing work that the Lord is doing in each of their lives. i already cant wait to go back!!!! taken in Dominican Republic by @avery.boz

what a joy it was to serve in costa rica!! this week really allowed me to see the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness towards me. He has blessed me with abundantly more than i truly need. as i got to see and know some of the people in costa rica, it was amazing to see the evident and overflowing joy that they have through Christ, despite their circumstances. i am leaving this trip very thankful to the Lord for blessing me in so many ways, but also challenged to find my satisfaction and joy in Christ alone, knowing that only He can satisfy our human hearts and bring everlasting joy and peace in every situation. by @avery.boz
