One more week at camp… and my heart is so full. 💚Getting to come back for Week 8 was such a gift. I loved getting to hang out with my sweet Daisy 4 girls and was so honored to serve Moony's cabin for the week.There was plenty of rain, lots of laughs, a little bit of chaos (the fun kind 😂), fort-building, dodgeball, brumbies , greeting families as they arrived, praying over campers before they stepped into camp, and getting to see so many of my favorite people again. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.I’m so grateful for every conversation, every memory, and every chance to be a small part of what the Lord is doing through Pine Cove. My cup is so full, and I’m leaving this week with an even more grateful heart.💚 by @avery.gore

This summer was spent running, jumping, wearing silly costumes, waking up early, staying up late, scrubbing dishes, making meals, and pouring out every ounce of energy not for recognition, but for the sake of the Gospel.The Lord taught me that I was never meant to do it in my own strength. True dependence on Him isn't a weakness it's exactly where He meets us. Through every long day and every early morning, He faithfully sustained me. His goodness never ran out.What a privilege it was to serve, love campers, and watch God move in ways only He can. I'm leaving this summer more tired than I arrived, but even more thankful for the faithfulness of God."Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Started the semester on a mission trip and somehow ended up halfway to graduation. Mexico, gym days, and a lot of time just hanging out with my people filled the space in between.It wasn’t the easiest semester, but it was a meaningful one. God kept leading, even in the uncertainty, reminding me He’s my Shepherd every step of the way. “He guides me along the right paths… even though I walk through the valley… You are with me.” — Psalm 23:3–4Grateful for it all 🤍 by @avery.gore

Mission Trip part 2Belmopan, Belize 🤍We arrived exhausted but were welcomed like family at the Belmopan Baptist Training Center, alongside the East Texas Baptist University track team. From worship and testimonies to sharing God’s Word, He met us in every moment.We visited Belmopan Christian Academy, sharing the Fruit of the Spirit with younger students and praying with them. With high schoolers, we heard bold testimonies of faith and perseverance. We also spent time at Ontario Christian Academy, worshiping, praying, and building relationships with students—helping some get home along the way!We prayed over “The Garden,” a new retreat and discipleship space, asking God to bless it as holy ground for rest, growth, and encounters with Him.We shared Moms in Prayer with local women, explored Mayan temples, crossed rivers on a hand-crank ferry, and enjoyed local treats in Spanish Lookout. Every moment—from worship at Harvest Praise Church to debriefing at the Training Center—reminded us that God works through willing hearts, not perfect plans.Tired, full, and forever grateful, we leave Belmopan inspired by faith, hope, and the incredible stories of redemption we witnessed ✝️🤍“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10 by @avery.gore

Part 1 of my mission trip!Bella Vista, Belize 🤍We arrived exhausted, running on very little sleep—but were met with open arms and hearts that felt like home. From worshiping together in multiple languages our first night, to walking into children’s church already filled with songs of praise, God was so clearly present in every moment.105 kids showed up—many riding their bikes on their own—ready to worship, learn, and just be kids. We made salvation bracelets, talked about the Fruits of the Spirit, played games, and shared so much joy. Every single child left fed, loved, and seen. We had enough for everyone. God provided—again and again.With paint-stained hands and tired bodies, we served however we could—helping restore a pastor’s home and church spaces, working side by side as one body. We listened to powerful testimonies of redemption and miracles, stories that reminded us that prayer changes everything and that God is still very much at work.From sweeping church floors to praying with women late into the night, Bella Vista reminded us that worship doesn’t need perfect words, comfort, or familiarity—just willing hearts. We left tired, humbled, and overflowing with gratitude for what the Lord did in and through this place. 5 weeks of jumping, screaming, sweating, and laughing all for the Gospel — and somehow it never got old. Pine Cove Silverado has shown me what it looks like to live in a Christ-centered community, and to see God’s grace and faithfulness in every little moment. I’ve learned, grown, and been so deeply reminded of who He is.It wasn’t always easy — the hard moments brought me to the end of myself, but they also brought so much humility and a deeper dependence on the Lord.
