This is the hardest post I’ve ever made. These last two days were more than just a golf tournament. They marked the end of my golf career and the closing of such a huge chapter of my life. As a team finishing fourth at state makes me so proud of this team and everything we fought through together. From day one being sunny and beautiful to day two bringing cold rain and wind, this tournament honestly felt like a perfect picture of golf itself. Hard, unpredictable, frustrating at times, but still so worth it.

These last six years as a Lady Ram have given me some of the best memories and people I could’ve ever asked for. From my very first tee shot in 7th grade to my final putt today, golf has shaped me into who I am. I’ve met amazing coaches, teammates, and friends that I’ll cherish forever.

What makes it hardest to leave behind is the girls. The laughs, the inside jokes, the long tournament days, the practices, the bus rides, and all the little moments in between are what made this sport so special. Going from feeling like we had forever left together to realizing there’s only two weeks left hit harder than I expected. Watching my last putt drop and hugging these girls after meant everything to me. I love these girls more than words.

A huge thank you to Coach Fell and Coach Cantrell for everything you’ve done for me and this program over the years. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and making these years so memorable. I will never forget the effort you guys put in to make us better. You guys never fail to make me smile even after the worst shots. I love you both so much!

A big thank you to Elo for always being there for me. You’ve always been the best cheerleader for me and snap me back into place when I make a not so smart decision.

I couldn’t have done any of this without my amazing parents. They are the best parents ever always believing in me and encouraging me. Sacrificing their own time to let me play the game I love. I love you guys more than you know. You mean everything to me!
