my last nabqt as a bible quizzer… i don’t know that i’ve ever felt so many emotions about something coming to an end. this year looked a lot different than my past years of quizzing, but the Lord and His Word were always constant.
this last nationals was so special. the presence of God was so evident throughout the entire week. His goodness simply never ceases to amaze me. and as i walked off the platform after hitting the buzzer for the very last time, i was overwhelmed with love and support. i was surrounded by people who have stuck by me and supported me no matter what. that goes beyond just the people that were physically there. at prayer and share after i gave my speech, so many people stood by my side and prayed with me and for me, i felt so much love and peace. i will treasure those memories forever.
bible quizzing taught me invaluable lessons, gave me lifelong friends, and instilled in me a deep love for the Word. verses like john 5:39, psalm 34:18, zechariah 4:6, acts 5:41, psalm 119:11, romans 15:4, 2 corinthians 7:10, acts 4:31, proverbs 3:5, and countless others have been and always will be my comfort in times of trouble.
all these words fail to truly capture what bible quizzing has meant to me and always will. all i can say is i am so blessed, and so thankful.♥️ by @avery.melendrez

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39
this year’s material gave me a new love for Bible Quizzing and a new love for the Word that i will hold closely as i enter my last year in this ministry.
thank you God for this gift you’ve given, and thank you Bible Quizzing for giving me lifelong friends to share it with🤍 taken in Galt House Louisville, Ky by @avery.melendrez
