Dreams don’t just happen—they’re built in early mornings, long nights, and unwavering dedication. This chapter may be closing, but everything it has taught me will stay with me as I chase the next one.

No one really tells you what to expect when it’s over. Words can’t fully describe the feeling of these past two weeks. Showing pigs has never just been about the wins—it’s about the memories made along the way. The little girl I once was would be so proud of the young woman I’ve become and how far I’ve come.

Saying goodbye to showing is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, because it has been so much more than just showing—it’s been a way of life. The early mornings, long days, setbacks, and victories have all taught me what true hard work, determination, and passion really mean. This industry has shaped me into the person I am today, teaching me responsibility, grit, and how to keep pushing when things get tough. I’m incredibly thankful for every opportunity, every lesson, and every memory made in the barn and in the show ring. To everyone who has stood in my corner and pushed me to be better—thank you for believing in me.

Thank you, Cooper, for everything you’ve done for me—for always showing up, pushing me to be my best, and helping shape me into who I am today. I love you.

Thank you to my sister and my parents for the countless sacrifices, the encouragement, and the unconditional love you’ve given me every step of the way. I couldn’t have made it through this year without y’all by my side.

And above all, I thank God for blessing me with these experiences, the people who supported me, and a journey I will carry with me forever.

OYE 2026 will be unforgettable. The wins are amazing, but I’m even more grateful that @makenna_oliver and I got to experience it side by side both weeks. The Lord has a way of making dreams come true at just the right time.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done”

• OYE ‘24 didn’t disappoint. I am so grateful to be able to drive this barrow. I’ve dreamt of riding in the limo at OYE for years, but I couldn’t imagine that this year was the one. Thank you to Cooper and Wes for always getting me and Emma the best of the best and trusting me to drive him this year!
