Ain’t Life Grand

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

this morning i lost one of the most important people in my life. Papa you have been the most incredible human being on this earth. you have shed so many lights on people to make them a better person and me a better woman, and a woman i strive to be. You have been with me through ups and downs, helping me with math class, learning how to tie my shoe and teaching me how to swim and overcome my fears. you have always been such an independent person that pushes people to become their best selves. i will simply never ever forget waking up to the yummy smell of the most delicious breakfast with warm biscuits and bacon with a crisp only me and you would dare to eat. i thought this day would never ever ever come, and i hoped and dreamed it wouldn’t have been today, loosing you is the worst thing i have ever felt, but i know you loved me and our family so dearly you were ready to let go and live on in heaven. i played my first Varsity home game for you today, and won! i kissed my finger and put it high in the sky every point i scored and before every serve just for you. Papa you will shine everywhere you go, i know your looking down at me right now smiling so big because you know i can get through this. i miss that signature whistle every morning but hey it just means it’ll be passed down generations. i’ll think of you anytime i eat biscuits and bacon with our favorite strawberry jam and orange juice, the fine smell of rosemary and figs, the comfort of our favorite fluffy blanket we used to watch shows and eat popcorn with. papa you were and still are so loved. fly high papa i love you forever 🕊️ by @avery__buckner_
