Making this post has not been an easy thing to do. I have been playing basketball with many of these girls since elementary school, and this year the chemistry really showed. We finally got to make our run, with each other, but more importantly for each other. We fought through so many challenges, and I would not have wanted to do it with anyone other than these girls.

These girls gave me the chance to break the individual career assist record and the season assist record, which would have never been done without Jai’s inside presence, Kirkpatrick’s smooth hands to catch any pass I throw at her, Streaky’s determination to score, Callie’s corner 3, Ivy’s go-get-it mindset, Kenna’s quickness to catch a grenade of a pass downcourt, or Josie’s spot shot. All 11 of you made a huge impact on our team and individual success.

Thank you Coach Cook for being a rock for me and a lot of other girls. You truly the best assistant coach i’ve ever had.

Thank you Coach Grider for seeing the things in us that no one else has ever seen. When you looked at us at the beginning of the summer and said “We will be going to the state tournament” we all laughed, we never thought it was possibly. As we continued to meet our team goals throughout the season we started seeing the same things you knew we could accomplish. You allowed us to see that “image.”

Thank you Coach Stoffer for everything you do for me and the rest of the team.

Most importantly thank you God for blessing me with these outstanding coaches, teammates, family members, friends, and overall an amazing fan base. None of this is capable with out you guys. I am forever grateful and indebted to this program.

These last four years I have been blessed with the opportunity to play tennis at Chapman High school. I’d like to thank everyone who has showed endless support for me it truly means so much. Thank you to my mom, Chelsey, and Rachel who managed to put up with me. Having my mom as a coach has been so special, she is my biggest supporter and put me in a position to be the best version of myself. I am so grateful for the memories, friends, and relationships this sport has giving me. So I guess now it’s time to pick up pickle ball?… by @avery_baer00
