Mama, I truely never thought we would be here. I don’t know how to put into words how much you impacted my life. I’m every part of you from your caring heart to your no bull shit attitude. The biggest compliment to me has and always will be “you remind me of your mom.” You were a force to be reckoned with and I will do my best to carry on your legacy. You impacted so many people and everyone loved you, you were a second home for so many people. I truely believe you were taken way too soon from us, but I also know you would hate for any of us to say you lost your battle to cancer. So for now we will call it a tie because you passed, it also passed with you. I love you more than words could ever describe you are my everything and best friend. I don’t know how I will do life without you but you raised me and my brothers so I know we will find a way. This truly is the most heartbreaking and unfair thing we have ever had to face. I love you forever. #fcancer by @avery_mcmullen12

9/27/25: nothing prepares you for loss, nothing prepares you to lose a parent, nothing prepares you to lose your best friend, nothing prepares you to lose your mom at a young age. A year ago today, we lost one of the most amazing people. There’s not a lot of things you can say to encompass your love for someone who is no longer here. I miss my mom, I miss your laugh, your smile, your hugs, your jokes, your sarcasm, I miss it all. But most importantly I miss you. We talk about you everyday, we remember you everyday, and we love you everyday. I love and miss you mama. #fcancer by @avery_mcmullen12
