last night was my last banquet as a cheerleader, and i am so beyond grateful for these past eight years. i’ve learned so much and will carry these memories with me forever. six months ago i injured my knee and was told i wouldn’t be able to cheer again. my team, my coaches and my friends were there to support me and they taught me that this sport wasn’t only about the skills, the tumbling or stunting, but rather about cheering other people on. this year as i’ve been limited to cheering from the sidelines, i’ve learned how to cheer for others. i learned to turn toward God, make the most of moments that seem like hardship and i learned what true friendship means. this sport has been a part of me for most of my life, and it will always hold a piece of my heart. thank you to my coaches, my teammates and my parents who supported me through everything. and most importantly, thank you cheer🫰🏼💕once a wildcat always a wildcat, #skocats @wxcheerleaders by @averybishop_17
