For the last day of 2025, I reflect on my Pachyrhinosaurus sculpture that I took nearly the entire year to finish. It is my best sculpture so far, and I really appreciate the support and positive feedback from my followers and family. Happy New Year, everyone!

Fun Fact: Black rhinos are usually solitary, except for during mating season or when they are raising calves. ❤️🦏. Also, recent studies show they can be social after dark. 🌖🌙

P.S., I had this photo ready for World Rhino Day on September 22, but never got around to posting it. Happy belated World Rhino Day!

Meet Mosasaurus! This marine reptile swam the seas during the Late Cretaceous period (82-66 Mya) during the age of dinosaurs. It grew to nearly 40 feet long, but some estimates say it could have grown up to 50 feet. It was an apex predator that ate large fish, sharks, sea turtles, and other marine reptiles (including other mosasaurs)!

P.S. Mosasaurs was not a dinosaur, it was a reptile in the order Squamata (includes lizards and snakes)

Happy Iguana Awareness Day!

Did you know there are over 40 species of Iguanas? Some of them are endangered due to habitat destruction and invasive species.

Meet Deinosuchus (Aka, “Terrible Croc”); this prehistoric crocodilian lived about 82-73 million years ago in North America. At around 30 feet long, with a five foot head, Deinosuchus hunted large turtles, fish, and possibly large dinosaurs. Not even Steve Irwin would mess with this giant reptile (may he rest in peace).

FUN FACT: An adult Tyrannosaurus had the strongest bite of any dinosaur! It’s estimated its jaws could generate a force of 8,000 to 12,000 pounds.

FUN FACT: Pachycephalosaurus is only known from a single complete skull. It’s done was around 10 inches thick, hence why Pachycephalosaurus means “thick-headed lizard”. Paleontologists have speculated that its dome was used for head butting battles.
