Our sweet Navy Grace was dedicated this weekend. So grateful for the honor to raise her to know and love Jesus. Our prayer over Navy’s life, that we feel the Lord has spoken over her, has been out of Matthew 6:19-34. That she would be a woman who stores her treasure in heaven. That her currency in life is found through the culture of the kingdom and not through this world. And lastly that she would be a woman marked by being innocent of evil and wise in what is good. Romans 16:19. We are beyond in love with our Navy girl. She adds a sweetness and a steadiness to our family that has been so delightful. by @averygrace3

Life will continue to get more demanding but we will always choose to prioritize what our soul craves most. Time of holy solitude. Not checked out or distracted but deeply reflecting on our savior and his work in our life. Every January we take a trip for this and, yes, it is restful and lovely to be in a beautiful place but it is a lot of planning & surrender as we continue to yearly put everything in our life on the table. As married couples with kids know we also do this to remember, yes, we are still so so in love… the kids just make you crazy sometimes hahah It takes much work to seek excellence as a family and not put yourself on cruise control. Thankful for a spouse who sharpens me and leads us to never settle. So anyways the trip was amazing and it was a lot of talking and praying and reflecting and I loved it all. by @averygrace3
