this weekend i got to baptize my baby sister

last year at burning ones conference i sat on the balcony of the sanctuary of my church, where i often encounter the Lord and pray and contend for my family, and i got to walk my baby sister through a beautiful moment of deliverance.

this year at burning ones conference she wanted to be baptized.

i believe one of the most important assignments God has ever and will ever give me is getting to be her big sister.

growing up i was always told how difficult it must be to have a sibling with special needs, and how strong i am for putting up with what comes with that.

but the truth is that i am convicted when i look at my sisters unconditional love for people. i am convicted when i see her compassion. i am convicted when i see her undignified worship.

i have learned to be more selfless, more generous, and i am a better woman simply because i get the honor of being her big sister. (Jesus you are too good to me)

one of the greatest joys of my life is watching her live out who God has called her to be. to watch her tread upon serpents and scorpions with joy as her weapon. and to see the devil get put to shame because everything he used to try and defeat her, God has turned around for His glory.

alayna is a force to be reckoned with, she is a carrier of the Spirit of the Lord.

alayna’s name means “a bright, shining light” and she is a light in every dark place.

don’t give up on God, because He has never given up on you!

there is power in testifying! i’m so thankful for faithful leaders like @itsceli_07 who pursue God with everything even in the midst of a trial, because her testimony paved the way for my deliverance! what took her 2 years only took me 2 months to overcome because of her obedience in staying steadfast and testifying!

God loves Israel.
