Lilies are symbolic of these three words, furthermore, these three words are some of the first things that come to mind when I think of Alivia. Which is ironic because just a few weeks ago, I asked her what her favorite flower was (and after much deliberation and about 8 other answers) she finally mentioned lilies. alivia and I did floral design together through middle and high school. many times you could find us in the trader joe’s, kroger, ingles, or later on, blossoms parking lot scrambling to get flowers in time for our next order of arrangements. some of my best (and most stressful 😂😭) memories with her were made at workshops or in Ms. Holcomb’s classroom doing what we loved most together. she taught me most of what I know about flowers, and her passion truly helped shape mine as well. Losing my business partner, music lover, shopping fanatic, and most importantly best friend was something I never imagined I would have to go through. She truly led a Christ-centered life and her goal was to lead others to Him as well! Throughout the last 8 years I watched her grow into the most beautiful, joyful, graceful, and elegant person I know and I am truly honored to call her my best friend. James 1:2-4 reminds us to count it all JOY when we encounter trials, and I KNOW that is exactly what Alivia would want us to do now. While it’s so hard to see her go, I know ill see her again one day 🫶🏻 by @averykate_11
