I truly never thought this day would come but here we are. For the last 14 years of my life, I have lived and breathed softball. I pursued my dreams of playing at the Division I level and found my forever friends along the way. I am so grateful that God gave me this opportunity to be a player of this game no matter how many 6am practices or lifts, 4 hour practices, 10 game weekends, hours of travel, thousands of dollars spent, you name it, because I know that He brought me to it, and that He would bring me through it. If I could do it all over again, I would. Thank you to everyone who has poured into me during my career, I am forever thankful for the impact that has been left on me so that I could impact others. The memories made from this journey will be something I carry with me for the rest of my life and the lessons I’ve learned will be lessons I continue to teach athletes as I pursue my career of becoming a strength coach.

I would not be the woman I am today without this sport and I will continue to thank God for that everyday as I enter a new phase of my life that isn’t #13, Avery Miloch. by @averymiloch
