As my first bind with a colored printer, I went ham. Even the patronus messages are in blue. I never realized how large this fic is, so getting it to a reasonable size was a struggle, but I’m pretty happy with how it came out :).

Holiday Rebind 1/3🎁: Atlas Shrugged 🚂

I rebound this book for my bf’s mom, and she ended up really loving it 🥹. This was my first time working with holographic vinyl (which is not for the weak), and I love how the book looks different from every angle.

I’ve had this text block lying around for months and it felt so nice to finish another bind! I wanted to embody all the ~New Year’s vibes~ with this theme, and I’m very happy with how the cover design turned out. The case sizing though?…we won’t talk about that.

Bind 9️⃣: The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

This was my first ever rebind and mistakes were made but I learned a lot! For one, I was distracted and misspelled Jenny’s name, but the suede was not going to cooperate me changing it 🥲(sorry, Miss Han). I also learned that HTVfront vinyl works best if you don’t use wax paper, and peel IMMEDIATELY. This helped abundantly in doing multiple layers of vinyl. I’m very excited to do more rebinds soon!

BIND 8: Apple Pies and Other Amends 🍎

Used @lmbookbinding ‘s beautiful typeset for this project—I couldn’t pass up the recipe section😌. The faux suede + foil HTV combo made me homicidal, but here she is 😅. Dust jacket coming soon.

BIND 7: A Season for Setting Fires 🔥

This bind was so cursed it almost made me quit bookbinding altogether! Even in posting, the photos of the cover refuse to upload in normal quality (hence the pixelation). That said, I’m relieved to be done and sharing it with you all. Opted for a monochromatic faux red leather cover, custom end papers, and a penguin classics inspired dust jacket.

Bind 6💙Things We’re All Too Young to Know by eevans (@eevans22_ )

For materials I used faux suede from Hollanders, HTVront for the cover design, and marbled paper from paper source that I backed in card stock. Definitely had more than a few mess ups on this one, but she’s still cute 😅. Typeset is by me, and I decided to use some foil lamination on the first few pages to add extra ✨sparkle✨. I haven’t seen many typesets for this fic so please let me know if anyone wants me to make it available.

Very excited to share bind #5: Remain Nameless

I decided to do a vintage coffee ad theme, and I’m really happy with the result! Decided to keep as one giant volume instead of splitting in two. This was also my first time working with HTV, and it was definitely not as easy as I thought it would be(hence, no spine decoration😅). I also repurposed some of my extra endpapers by laminating the designs into spare bookmarks.
