One hood swap and suddenly the LeMans thinks it’s an $80,000 GTO. 😂

Amazing how one piece can make the whole car look like a muscle machine.

Should I continue working on this bad boy? 🔥

Trying to start an old LeMans with gas, a squirt bottle, and @averyshoaf4real standing nearby.

So yes, obviously safety was our number one priority... at least that’s what we’re calling it. 😂

@averyshoaf4real asked why I wanted to start the LeMans if I’m taking it apart anyway.

Simple... I paid $6,500 for it, and I’d still like to know if the thing runs. 😂

Besides, it’s basically a swoopier Chevelle, right?

I bought a $1,400 car that needs clutch work and somehow @averyshoaf4real didn’t roast me for it.

He actually said I made a good choice and it is 100% Avery approved... I’m framing this moment.

Avery said I wouldn’t have got it out by myself because it’s a two-guy job.

I said I did it by myself last time.

He said not this year... fair enough. 😅

Avery spent months telling me the brown decals looked terrible, so I finally switched the Rust Valley Explorer to red and brought it back for inspection. 😅

The verdict? Way, way, way better. Even Avery called it classy!

Avery has hated the brown decals on the Rust Valley Explorer from day one, so the second he got the approval from me, they were finished. 😂

They made sense after the Explorer got keyed and repainted, but I’ll admit it wasn’t my best color choice...

End of an era... or at least the end of a color.

I asked Avery what Mike and Donny were like back when they were drinking, and the answer was basically: The Hillbilly Express. 🍻

Deals getting made, money changing hands, Mike getting his hair spray-painted orange and black... and Donny attempting to ride a skateboard at 350–400 pounds. That era sounds completely unmanageable... @barriereautoandtrucktow

I wish I had some photos of that memory. 😭
